OVERVIEW

Is a weed that grows in North America, areas in Asia. It has purple flowers and is a low-growing herb. The leaves are mainly used in soups and salads. When dried, they are used in making tea.

Applications / Preparations: Can be put into capsules, teas, soups, stews or infused as an herbal extract. For cosmetic use can be put in a poultice or as a strong infusion for a skin wash.

Storage: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.

Directions: Daily serving size: Pour 8-12 oz of boiling water (212 F) over 1 tsp. of tea. Steep 3-4 minutes.
