Magnesium oil is a mixture of magnesium chloride flake and water, which results in a liquid that has an oily feel to it, but technically is not an oil at all. Magnesium chloride oil can be absorbed through the skin topically to help with magnesium deficiency.
Magnesium is a mineral that is very important in many bodily functions, especially aiding the body to absorb other vital vitamins and minerals. Magnesium also helps to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar; helps with manufacturing protein, bone and DNA; and it regulates nerve and muscle function.
Some people experience minor tingling, itching or a burning sensation when using magnesium oil topically. Most of time, this is due to a magnesium deficiency, and will subside after regular application.
Simply give your bottle a like shake to disperse the essential oils in the mix, which tend to float to the tope of the bottle. Then roll onto the bottoms of your feet before bedtime, or onto your torso right after showering. You don't have to rinse it off, but if you are experiencing the minor skin reaction to magnesium oil on your skin (especially in the beginning of use) you can leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off to ensure absorption.
