  • How to Use Cedarleaf Essential Oil

    • Diffuser: Diffuse a few drops in water or on the absorption pad of your diffuser.
    Aromatic Profile and Blending of Cedarleaf Essential Oil
    • Perfumery Note: Base Note
    • Odor:  Fresh, sharp, balsamic and slightly woody aroma.
    • Blends Well With: Woody oils, such as cypress and juniper. Also, blends well with Bergamot, Cinnamon Bark, Lemon, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Thyme, and Vetiver.
  • The volatile oil produced by cedar leaves and twigs contains about 65 percent thujone, which is a hydrocarbon and a toxic chemical. It is hepatotoxic. Do not take internally. This essential oil must be used in a carrier oil before applying to the skin with a 1:10 dilution.
